Reason for nickname: His name isn't really nickname material, so people just call him by his first name.

Occupation/class: Back on his homeworld, he was a very famous gun architect. A few years ago in his past he was a Nomad bandit king. Nowadays he's just a nomad, working for himself and his survival.

Type of body (build): He's muscly under his clothes, but no where near as much as Brick and he's no Mordecai, he's a little average, carrying heavy gear and running long distances causes him to grow some muscle but age and the fact all day he sits around and does nothing all day keep up with him.

Is s/he healthy? Euuuuughmmm... Sort of, he'll drink, but only if it's a party or something or if he really needs something to calm him down. He's old for a Pandoran, very old. He can't keep up with the younger people (and technology) but he tries his hardest since he once had a daughter and it was difficult to keep up with her. He can run very long distances but not too long. He is extremely strong, his minigun (even with the thing split into two parts) is around 300-400 pounds. To take into perspective, The Heavy from TF2 says his minigun is 150 kilograms, that is 300 pounds. In short, he's an old man, but he's not to be underestimated.

Greatest Weakness: His Sytax lineage makes him extremely targeted out of fear by bandits, meat by creatures, and money by Hyperion. He's also very slow at trusting people, speed in general, and adapting to new environments, which is unlike a nomad.
Soft spot: He has a soft spot for kids and young women. They remind him of his wife and daughter. Since there are next to no kids on Pandora he sees midgets as substitutes. Which is why he let Stripskin live with him in the first place, however lately he doesn't see a child in Stripskin anymore. He's pretty good at hiding emotions anyway.

He has so many ideas for guns however he can only draw them, he has no skill in actually physically making guns. He's always left that to the engineers.

It's a digistruct minigun, meaning he grabs from litterally nothing and it generates bullets on it's own, unlimited magazine size, deals damage every millisecond and increases with every level, however after a while it goes away to cool down.

Danvix Akara was born and raised in the dimension of The Destroyer, the final boss from Borderlands 1. In this dimension, every single law has a penalty of death. Danvix never knew his dad and his younger brother never did either. His mom was an okay mom, but later after Danvix moved out she developed drinking problems. Danvix's younger brother, Quten, was a selfish person. He would always steal things from his older brother and wanted all of the attention on him. Danvix didn't mind this, in fact he let him have all the attention so he could focus on drawing and arts and his own life. He was a very clever boy, knowing that in a few decades he woon't have a mom to look after him, so he made himself strong and independant. Quten always had a fear of his brother's strength, he thought every little action his brother did was an insult to him. He always blamed Danvix for his own faults, he always wanted the attention to him, and he wants his brother to rot in hell. Danvix started drawing guns around his teenage years, he was old enough for a job and got profit by selling his guns to companies. Quten was ENRAGED. Danvix was getting more attention then him, an INTROVERT getting MORE ATTENTION.
By the time they were legally adults in their 150's (About 40-50). Quten stole one of Danvix's works, and ran up to one of the companies, claiming Danvix was stealing his works for profit. He also tried to make his story sound as sad and desperate as possible. So Danvix was arrested for copyright and his brother got all of Danvix's money and used every little peice of art Danvix ever made to continue his 'legacy'. Danvix was to be executed by being fed to The Destroyer, The Sytax's god and diety. All criminals, for any crime, were to be fed to The Destroyer as sacrifice. Danvix had his hands bound, he was ready to be fed to The Destroyer. In a way, he was eaten by the monster. However when he was The Vault opened in the Borderlands dimension. The blast from being sent into another dimension flung him into The Destroyer's cirtical hit area (I have no idea if it's an eye anymore) and he was trapped in there until The Destroyer died. He was thrown in front of the four Vault Hunters who freed him, he was concious enough to grab a Guardian Mask and put it on before he was knocked out cold in nothing but jail clothes.
When Danvix woke up, he was in New Haven in Zed's clinic, healed up by Dr. Zed. Not knowing any English and confused as to why this stranger had no stripes on his body, he asked where he was. Zed looked at him in confusion and asked him what Danvix was, Danix looked at him confused. he knew there was a clear language barrier between them. For the years he was in New Haven, he was taught English by Helena Peirce and what this planet is and what inhabits it by Tannis. Roland loved his designs for guns and Brick was fond of how tall and strong Danvix was for his age (Danvix told him he was in his 50's. Telling him he was 200+ might make Tannis even more stalker-ish). After the destruction of New Haven Danvix became a bandit king by recruiting nomads and marauaders to his clan, Danvix was completely fair to prisoners from The Bloodshot and Firehawk clan, letting them become part of The Akara and live if they can tell him what his race was. All of them failed by saying he was human. His became allies with Brick after learning he became a bandit king himself. Frequently they had raids against Hyperion and drank copious amounts of alcohol, Danvix also learned what a dog was.
One night after another sucessful Hyperion raid and some new prisoners, Danvix and Brick got drunk again, Danvix was so intoxicated his mask fell right off, exposing his stripes to Brick, who of course freaked out at intellegent alien life. Danvix explained to him calmly that he was a Sytax, he was sent to be eaten by The Destroyer and came out in another dimension, how famous he was in his own, and how his brother was an ass. Brick forgived him for keeping it secret, so did Lilith and Roland and Mordecai. The Slabs never knew, Brick kept it secret from them since he knew those idiots would spill the beans to the whole planet. However, The Akara clan got the news and tried to drug Danvix to turn him in for profit. Danvix was ENRAGED by this and killed almost everyone in the clan, only Skinstrip stayed loyal and stayed with Danvix. The clan disbanded and died within a week. Danvix got the materials he needed to live on top of the snowy area of the Southern Shelf near The Vault of The Destroyer and lives there today, shooting and eating anyone who comes by.

Danvix's younger brother, Quten, was a selfish person. He would always steal things from his older brother and wanted all of the attention on him. Danvix didn't mind this, in fact he let him have all the attention so he could focus on drawing and arts and his own life. He was a very clever boy, knowing that in a few decades he woon't have a mom to look after him, so he made himself strong and independant. Quten always had a fear of his brother's strength, he thought every little action his brother did was an insult to him. He always blamed Danvix for his own faults, he always wanted the attention to him, and he wants his brother to rot in hell. Danvix started drawing guns around his teenage years, he was old enough for a job and got profit by selling his guns to companies. Quten was ENRAGED. Danvix was getting more attention then him, an INTROVERT getting MORE ATTENTION.
By the time they were legally adults in their 150's (About 40-50). Quten stole one of Danvix's works, and ran up to one of the companies, claiming Danvix was stealing his works for profit. He also tried to make his story sound as sad and desperate as possible. So Danvix was arrested for copyright and his brother got all of Danvix's money and used every little peice of art Danvix ever made to continue his 'legacy'. Danvix was to be executed by being fed to The Destroyer, The Sytax's god and diety. All criminals, for any crime, were to be fed to The Destroyer as sacrifice. Danvix had his hands bound, he was ready to be fed to The Destroyer. In a way, he was eaten by the monster. However when he was The Vault opened in the Borderlands dimension. The blast from being sent into another dimension flung him into The Destroyer's cirtical hit area (I have no idea if it's an eye anymore) and he was trapped in there until The Destroyer died. He was thrown in front of the four Vault Hunters who freed him, he was concious enough to grab a Guardian Mask and put it on before he was knocked out cold in nothing but jail clothes.
When Danvix woke up, he was in New Haven in Zed's clinic, healed up by Dr. Zed. Not knowing any English and confused as to why this stranger had no stripes on his body, he asked where he was. Zed looked at him in confusion and asked him what Danvix was, Danix looked at him confused. he knew there was a clear language barrier between them. For the years he was in New Haven, he was taught English by Helena Peirce and what this planet is and what inhabits it by Tannis. Roland loved his designs for guns and Brick was fond of how tall and strong Danvix was for his age (Danvix told him he was in his 50's. Telling him he was 200+ might make Tannis even more stalker-ish). After the destruction of New Haven Danvix became a bandit king by recruiting nomads and marauaders to his clan, Danvix was completely fair to prisoners from The Bloodshot and Firehawk clan, letting them become part of The Akara and live if they can tell him what his race was. All of them failed by saying he was human. His became allies with Brick after learning he became a bandit king himself. Frequently they had raids against Hyperion and drank copious amounts of alcohol, Danvix also learned what a dog was.
One night after another sucessful Hyperion raid and some new prisoners, Danvix and Brick got drunk again, Danvix was so intoxicated his mask fell right off, exposing his stripes to Brick, who of course freaked out at intellegent alien life. Danvix explained to him calmly that he was a Sytax, he was sent to be eaten by The Destroyer and came out in another dimension, how famous he was in his own, and how his brother was an ass. Brick forgived him for keeping it secret, so did Lilith and Roland and Mordecai. The Slabs never knew, Brick kept it secret from them since he knew those idiots would spill the beans to the whole planet. However, The Akara clan got the news and tried to drug Danvix to turn him in for profit. Danvix was ENRAGED by this and killed almost everyone in the clan, only Skinstrip stayed loyal and stayed with Danvix. The clan disbanded and died within a week. Danvix got the materials he needed to live on top of the snowy area of the Southern Shelf near The Vault of The Destroyer and lives there today, shooting and eating anyone who comes by.
